“Christy is a broker extraordinaire. I found her to help me with a home purchase in the Palo Alto area as part of a cross country move from NYC. I was immediately struck by her patience and kindness—I had a ton of questions as someone new to the area, and Christy took her time in answering them all, and showing me around.

I was only more and more impressed and delighted as I continued to work with her. She showed me a perfect variety of options in my price range. Other brokers told me I couldn’t get what I wanted for my budget, but Christy will work with your variables, whatever they are. And she’s just incredibly nice, positive, and enjoyable to be around.

Our transaction was very challenging with some difficult personalities on the other side, and Christy was a real pro at not only negotiating an incredible price for me (her kind and gentle demeanor belie a tough negotiator inside!), but also navigating a sticky transaction gracefully while advocating for me and keeping me away from the messiness.

She clearly knows her stuff and is very professional, but she would also offer creative ideas on everything from furnishing to landscaping. “Christy Ying is simply the best real estate agent ever. We met her a year ago when a friend recommended her to us. They knew about our frustration with the bay area real estate market. Christy saw all the red flags that told her we were not going to be easy clients but she decided to help us. Home after home, she never gave up on us. A few time, we thought we had found the right home. But instead of a quick sale, she pointed out things that we had missed. For example, there was a great home with a few trees in the driveway. We thought we would buy the home and chop them out. But Christy told us that we probably wouldn’t get approval to remove them.
